Bio

Gulf Coast Tribune, January 7, 1988: Services for Albin F. Tielke, 86, of Needville were held Monday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville. Rev. George Kuebler officiated the services. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Tielke was born January 24, 1901, in Needville. He and Emma Sophie Wieghat married October 26, 1922, and resided in Needville where he died Saturday, January 2, 1988. Survivors include his wife, Emma Sophie; one daughter Eileen Alaminsky and her husband Lawrence; four sons, Bernie W. Tielke and his wife Anna, Elton F. Tielke and his wife Faye, Albin F. Tielke and his wife Verna Dell and Woodrow Wieghat and his wife Judy; a brother, Henry Tielke and his wife Olivia; one sister, Emma Bremer; 23 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel United Church of Christ. Arrangements were under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors in Needville.
