Herald Coaster, April 18, 2002: Funeral services for Bernie William Tielke, 78, of Houston will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 at Gethsemane United Church of Christ, 8515 Brookwulf, Houston, Texas 77072, (281) 575-7866. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at the Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. Bernie was born Aug. 9, 1923 in Needville to the late Albin Tielke and Emma Wieghat Tielke, and he passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2002 in Houston. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anna Ellermann Tielke of Houston; his son, Cecil Tielke and his wife, Nancy, of Missouri City; a sister, Eileen Alaminsky of Sugar Land; brothers, Elton Tielke of Sugar Land, Albin Tielke Jr. of Sugar Land and Woodrow Wieghat of Bullard; and grandsons, Gregory Tielke and Keith Tielke. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, (281) 341-8800.
