Herald Coaster, December 5, 1967: Funeral services for Willie Tielke, 72, of Needville were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Immanuel United Church of Christ at Needville with Rev. Ed. Weltge, pastor of the church, officiating. Mr. Tielke, who came to Fort Bend County in 1909 from Wiedeville, died Sunday morning in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Miller Tielke of Needville; three sons, Lee Roy Tielke of Beasley, Raymond Tielke of Brenham, and Melvin Tielke of Needville; four daughters, Mrs. Viola Fuchs, Mrs. Ora Lee Lamensky, and Mrs. Caroline Macik, all of Needville, and Miss Marjorie Ann Tielke of Houston; three brothers, Albin Tielke, Eric Tielke, and Henry Tielke, all of Needville; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Bremer of Needville and Mrs. Selma Oberhoff, both of Needville; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Tony Allen Tielke, Rayburn Klussmann, Donald Fuchs, Kerry Tielke, and David Lamensky. Honorary pallbearers include Randy F. Macik, Richard Lamensky, Bobby Niel Fuchs, and Gary Lee Tielke. Burial was in the church cemetery. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.
