Herald Coaster, August 19, 1991: Funeral services for Henry Tielke, 85, of Needville are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville with the Rev. George Kuebler officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Mr. Tielke died Aug. 17 at his residence. Born Oct. 18, 1905, in Washington County, his parents were William and Caroline Tieman Tielke. He married Olivia Miller on Nov. 20, 1928 in a ceremony conducted by the Rev. J.R. Vilt. Since retiring from farming in 1973, the Tielkes lived in Needville. He was very proud of his large family. Mr. Tielke was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville. His survivors include his wife, Olivia Tielke; a son, Elgin Tielke and his wife, Winnie, of Angleton; daughter, Joyce Loesch and her husband, Melvin, of Rosenberg; a sister, Emma Bremer of Needville; grandchildren, Larry Loesch and his wife, Peggy; Sharon Loesch; Patsy Kubes and her husband, Jerome; Kevin Loesch and his wife, Linda; Kathy Wollgast and her husband, Terry; Lynette Kubes; Nancy Beran and her husband, Adolph; Randy Tielke; Kurtis Tielke and his wife, Kim; all are of Rosenberg; and Ronald Tielke and his wife, Mel of Yuma, Ariz. There are 15 great-grandchildren, Stefanie Loesch; Kristy, Jeffrey and Nathan Kubes; Stacey, Alissa and Kari Kubes; Jennifer and Nicholas Beran; Amanda and Brian Loesch; Brent and Kyle Wollgast; Nicole Tielke; all of Rosenberg; and Amanda Tielke of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Needville. Services are under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Inc. in Needville.
