Mrs. Frances Sinkule, 83, of West, died at 9:07 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15 in her home in West. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption. Msgr. I. J. Valenta officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Sinkule was born in Czechoslovakia. She had lived in the West area for the past 61 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption, St. Mary's Rosary Society and Altar Society. Her husband, Matt Sinkule, died Jan. 4, 1964. Survivors are four sons, Jim Sinkule and Jerry Sinkule, both of West, Joe Sinkule and Johnny Sinkule, both of Hillsboro; four daughters, Miss Rose Sinkule of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Frank Nors, Mrs. Joe Soukup and Miss Lillian Sinkule, all of West; two brothers, Anton Hejl of West and John J. Hejl of Ross; three sisters, Mrs. Antone Nors of West, Miss Matilda Hejl of Regis Hotel, Waco, and Mrs. Christine Marek of Waco; 25 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
