Matilda Hejl Dies, Services Set For Today Miss Matilda Hejl, 75, of the Regis in Waco and formerly of West, died at 1:30 am Thursday, December 21, in a Waco hospital. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am today (Friday) at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 pm Thursday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Miss Hejl was born in Czechoslovakia and came to the United States in 1903, and had lived in the West area ever since. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, member of the Altar Rosary Society, and member of the Church Czech Choir for a number of years. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Henry Nors of West and Mrs Adolph Marek of Waco; two brothers Anton Hejl of West and John Hejl of Ross, and numerous nieces and nephews.
