Jim J. Sinkule, age 69, of Rt. 2, West, died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at his residence. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West, with Msgr. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Sinkule was born May 5, 2923 near West and had been a resident of the West area all of his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KJT Society No. 31. He married Martha Holy on December 28, 1938 in West. Survivors include his wife, Martha; three sons, James Sinkule of Birome, William Sinkule of Rt. 2, West, and Tommy Sinkule of Birome; one daughter, Rose Marie Kramer of Waco; three brothers, Joe Sinkule of Rt. 1, Hillsboro, Jerry Sinkule of Rt. 1, West and Johnnie Sinkule of Rt. 1, Hillsboro; two sisters, Rose Sinkule of Waco and Stacie Soukup of West; 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were David Sinkule, Joe Sinkule, Jerry Sinkule, Johnny Kaluza, Raymond Holy, Jr. and Louis Nemec.
