Married: Frank Wunibald Stauss, Jr. on April 28, 1931 in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska Children (8): Geraldine, Frances Anna, Dorothy, JoAnn, James, Duwayne, Mary Ann, Wilbur Sister of: Edward, Florence, Henry, Lloyd, Floyd, Arthur, Lola, Dorothy, Albert, Christie Mrs. Angela Stauss Dies at Grand Island Hospital Mrs. Angela Stauss wife of Frank Stauss Jr. died Thursday morning in a local hospital. She had been in failing health for several weeks and critically ill since last Saturday. The family home is at 2107 W. 11th St. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Monday morning in Blessed Sacrament Church. a requiem mass will be offered. Interment will be in City Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 Sunday evening in the chapel of the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Mrs. Stauss was born July 16, 1912, in Dannebrog to Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Goodwin. During her childhood, the family moved to Dunning. She attended school there and in Grand Island at St. Mary's School, when the family returned to this area. She attended a school of beauty prior to her marriage to Mr. Stauss. Mr. and Mrs. Stauss were married April 28, 1931, in Grand Island. They had lived all of their wedded life in this community. Mrs. Stauss was member of the parish at Blessed Sacrament Church. She is survived by her husband; six children, James, Wilbur, Mrs. Virgil Billington, Mrs. Bill Woodward, Mrs. Irvin Vodehnal and Mrs. Rod Jewell, all of Grand Island, and Mrs. Wilber Meier, Colorado Springs, Colo., five brothers, Ed, Floyd, Lloyd, and Albert Goodwin, all of Cairo and Arthur of Grand Island; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Leschinsky and Mrs. Dorothy Zlomke, both of Grand Island, and Mrs. Lola Potzreba and Mrs. Christy Holz, both of Central City; and 26 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Duwayne, her parents, a brother, Henry; and a grandson, Alvin Ray Meier. Remembrances through the Heart Fund are preferred.
