Married: Dean Harold Zlomke on November 25, 1948 in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska Sister of: Edward, Angela, Florence, Henry, Lloyd, Floyd, Arthur, Lola, Albert, Christy Mrs. Dorothy Zlomke; wife of Dean Zlomke died Tuesday evening in a local hospital. A serious illness had invalided Mrs. Zlomke for the last several years. The family home is on Route l. Funeral rites will be held at 9:30 Friday morning in Blessed Sacrament Church. A requiem mass will be offered. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Westlawn Memorial Park. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 Thursday evening in the chapel of the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Visitations may be made from 4 to 9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born April 2, 1922, in Halsey to Mr. and Mrs. J. Milton Goodwin. Except for a period of seven years in her childhood, in which the family had resided in South Dakota. Mrs. Zlomke received her schooling in this city. Following her graduation from high school, she was employed in sales work in a local store until the time of her marriage to Mr. Zlomke, Oct 25, 1948 in Grand Island. They had made their only home here, four sons were born to them. Mrs. Zlomke was baptized and confirmed to the Catholic faith. She was a member of the parish at Blessed Sacrament Church and the Altar Society of her church. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Robert and John of Grand Island and Dean, Jr. of Baltimore, MD., five brothers, Ed and Arthur Goodwin of Grand Island, and Lloyd, Floyd and Albert Goodwin of Cairo, and three sisters, Mrs. Arnold Leschinsky of Grand Island and Mrs Kenneth Holtz and Mrs. Edward Potrzeba both of Central City. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard, her parents, a brother Henry and one sister, Mrs. Angela Stauss. GRAND ISLAND INDEPENDENT January 21, 1971
