Married: John H. Wieck on November 10, 1947 in Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska Married: Kenneth L. Holz Sister of: Edward, Angela, Florence, Henry, Lloyd, Floyd, Arthur, Lola, Dorothy, Albert, Christine Holz CENTRAL CITY -- Christine V. Holz, 81, of Central City died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare at Lakeview in Grand Island. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Further memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. There will be no visitation. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Holz was born May 27, 1925, at Grand Island to James M. and Idella Mary (Rayno) Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Wieck, and second husband, Kenneth Holz. Survivors of the immediate family include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Roswitha Wieck of Alda, Joseph Wieck of Alda, John and Robin Wieck of Carrolton, Ga., and James Holz of Grand Island; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mary and Dennis Michaelson of Winston, Ga., Joan and Dwayne Schmidt of Alliance, Margaret and Dellis Michaelson of Grand Island and Rose Wieck of North Platte. Additional survivors include 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Edward, Henry, Lloyd, Arthur, Floyd and Albert Goodwin; four sisters, Angela Stauss, Florence Leschinsky, Lola Potrzeba and Dorothy Zlomke; and a great-granddaughter.
