Herald Coaster, September 9, 1989: Funeral services for Minnie Tielke, 90, of Needville are scheduled 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Immanual United Church of Christ in Needville. The Rev. George Kuebler will officiate, with burial at Immanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Tielke died Friday at Leisure Lodge in Rosenberg. She was born Aug. 9, 1899, in Burleson County. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie, daughter, Loney, and granddaughter, Connie Kay Tielke. Survivors include three sons and their wives: Lee Roy and Alice Tielke of Somerville, Raymond and Eleanor Tielke of Brenham, and Melvin and Willie Mae Tielke of Needville; four daughters: Viola Fuchs and husband Clarence of Rosenberg, Ora Lee Lamensky and husband Clarence of Needville, Caroline Macik and husband Frank of Needville, and Marjorie Ann Janacek of Baytown; a sister, Annie Zich of Needville; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Danny Vangasseu, Rayburn Klussman, Donald Fuchs, Kenny Tielke, David Lamensky, Noel Janacek and Randy Macik. Memorials may be made to the Immanual United Church of Christ Cemetery Association. Friends may call Saturday at the Garmany & Carden Funerel Home.
