Herald Coaster, September 20, 2004: Funeral services for Joyce Martha Tielke Loesch, age 70, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1513 West Street in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Dale Staggemeier officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, 1201 Fourth St. in Rosenberg. Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Wollgast, Brian Loesch, Kyle Wollgast, Anthony Upton, Bobby Stanley, and Jason Scanlin. She was born Dec. 4, 1933, the daughter of Henry and Olivia Miller Tielke in Needville. She died Sept. 19, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who centered her life around her family. She spent her time caring for her grandchildren and other children in the community. She enjoyed fishing and spending time at their cabin in Matagorda, sewing, and making quilts for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Olivia Miller Tielke. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Melvin Loesch; children, Larry Dean Loesch and wife, Peggy, Sharon Loesch, Patsy Kubes and husband, Jerome, Kevin Loesch and wife, Linda, Kathy Wollgast and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Stefanie Stanley and husband, Bobby, Stacy Upton and husband, Anthony, Alissa Kubes and fianceé, Jason Scanlin, Amanda Loesch, Brent Wollgast, Brian Loesch, Kari Kubes, and Kyle Wollgast; great-grandchildren, Morgan Kubes, Erich Upton, and Austin Stanley; brother, Elgin Tielke and wife, Doris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
