Bio

Herald Coaster, August 18, 2002: Funeral services for Olivia Tielke, 91, of Needville are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9018 Church St. in Needville with the Rev. Fred Banda officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Kubes, Nathan Kubes, Brian Loesch, Brent Wollgast, Nicholas Beran, Kyle Wollgast and Justin Tielke. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel, 3103 School St. in Needville. Mrs. Tielke died Aug. 14, 2002 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. She was born July 16, 1911 in Needville to parents, John and Martha Zwahr Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tielke; her grandson, Charlie Kubes; her brothers, Henry and Johnny Miller and her sisters, Elsie Nawara and Katie Gragert. She is survived by her son, Elgin William Tielke and his wife, Doris of Angleton, her daughter, Joyce Loesch and her husband, Melvin of Rosenberg; her grandchildren, Larry D. Loesch and his wife, Peggy, Lynette Atkins and her husband, Tom, Sharon Loesch, Ronald W. Tielke, Patsy Kubes and her husband, Jerome, Nancy Beran and her husband, Adolph, Kevin Loesch and his wife, Linda, Kathy Wollgast and her husband, Terry, Randy Tielke, Kurtis K. Tielke and his wife, Kim, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and her sisters, Annie Herrington and her husband, Fred, Ruby Broze and Dorothy Salig. Memorial gifts may be made to Immanuel United Church of Christ Building Fund, 9018 Church St., Needville, Texas, 77461.
