Mrs. Anna Bernice Valasek, 56, passed away Tuesday morning, August 21st after a sudden attack of asthma. She died enroute to the Fullerton Hospital. Anna Bernice Valasek was born April 25, 1900 at St. Libory, Nebraska and passed away Tuesday, August 21, 1956 at Fullerton. She was married February 8, 1921 to Mike Valasek and to this union eight children were born. She is survived by six sons, Leo, Edward, Allie, Mike, Alfred and Joe, all of Palmer; and one daughter, Mrs. Irene Slizoski of Fullerton; also eight grandchildren, 5 brothers and five sisters. Preceding her in death were her husband, who passed away November 24, 1951 from injuries received in a car accident. The Wolbach Messenger, August 23, 1956, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney
