Drowned Wednesday – George Valasek, the 15-months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Valasek, farmers living seven miles northeast of Wolbach, was drowned in the horse tank at his home about 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. He had been playing around the yard and when his mother missed him she searched and found him in the tank about 200 feet away from the house. He had been gone about 10 minutes. The stricken boy was brought to the office of Dr. A H. Holm but was dead by that time. He was born June 22, 1940. Surviving are the parents, five brothers and a sister.
