'Tony' Kowalski . PALMER - Anthony Leo "Tony" Kowalski, 76, of Palmer, died Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Litzenberg Hospital in Central City. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Greenway-Palmer Funeral Home in Palmer. The Rev. Walter Phelan will officiate. Burial will be at the St. Libory Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Kowalski was born Jan. 17, 1915, at St. Libory to Gregory and Josie (Suida) Kowalski. At age 1 he moved with his family to Sherman County. He attended Schupps School. He moved with his family and also attended school in. Boone and Greeley counties. After finishing school he farmed with his family in Sherman, Howard, Greeley and Boone counties. He lived with his parents until. 1956, when he continued to live with his brothers, Walter and Harry, in Platte and Howard counties.' III health forced him to enter the Heritage Living Center at St. Paul and later the Coolidge Center in Palmer. He never married. He was baptized in the Catholic faith. Survivors include one brother, Walter of Palmer; and two sisters, Dorothy Molczyk of Grand Island and Marie Grabowski of Aurora. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Gregory, Roman, Harry and Joe; and four sisters, Katherine Krance, Anna Valasek, Helen Yocum and Gertrude Szatko.
