Bio

Herald Coaster, June 1, 1988: Funeral services for Louis T. Nawara, 87, of Needville, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First English Lutheran Church in Damon. The Rev. Erwin Knitt will officiate, with burial at Needville Public Cemetery. Mr. Nawara died Monday in Needville. He was born Nov. 19, 1900 and was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Damon. Survivors include his daughter and her husband, Marie and Larry Roberson of Needville; his son and his wife, Robert and Lillian Nawara of Needville; six grandchildren, Kenneth Nawara, Debra Prissy, William Louis Nawara, Aaron Kalowski, Mikey Roberson, and Joshua Roberson; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First English Lutheran Church. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Garmany & Carden Chapel in Needville which is in charge of arrangements.
