Bio

Herald Coaster, July 31, 1958: Funeral services for Eddie Richard Nawara, 53, of Needville, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Immanuel E&R Church in Needville. Rev. Frank Nagy of Rosenberg officiated. Mr. Nawara died early Sunday morning in Fort Bend Nursing Home. He had been in bad health for about the past year. Survivors are five brothers, Frank and Henry of Rosenberg, Louis and John of Needville, and Gus of Guy; and one sister, Mrs. Mattye Revia, Houma, La. Pallbearers were Henry Kreitz, Walter Kreitz, Leonard Nawara, Nelson Nawara, Herman Nichter, Robert Nawara, Alton Ray Nawara, and Raymond Nordt. Burial was in the Needville Public Cemetery under direction of Garmany-Janca Funeral Home.
