Bio

Herald Coaster, August 27, 1964: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Nawara, 53, of Damon, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the First English Lutheran Church in Damon. Rev. Herbert F. Lammert officiated. Mrs. Nawara passed away in the Polly Ryon Hospital after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Bend County. Among the survivors are her husband, Louis Nawara of Needville; a son, Robert Lee Nawara of Needville; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Kalinowski of Richmond; a brother, John Mazac of Damon; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Nawara of Needville and Mrs. Tracy Ann Nawara of Rosenberg; and two grandchildren. Burial was in the Needville Public Cemetery. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany and Company Funeral Directors.
