Mrs. August (Christine) Stanislav, age 92, of West died December 15, 1986 at West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at Kotch Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Dec. 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Stanislav was born Def. 15, 1894 in West, where she had lived all her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of the KJZT Society No. 11. Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1967. Survivors include her son, Jerry Stanislav of West; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Needham of Syracuse, N.Y., Margaret Clark of Dallas, and Mrs. Louis J. Wernet, Sr. of West; a sister, Mrs. Herman Grimm of Tours; a brother, Ed Mashek of West; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
