Bio
Christina (Tina) A. Needham, 92, of Syracuse NY, passed away at The Nottingham April 28, 2012. She was born in West, Texas. After graduating from high school in West, Texas, Tina earned her Registered Nursing degree. Prior to the outbreak of WWII, she enlisted in the Army Air Corp and served as an Operating Room Nurse with the rank of Lieutenant. During her five years of service she met and married Captain Dr. Charles N. Needham of Syracuse. At the end of WWII the couple moved to Syracuse. During her lifetime in Syracuse, Tina was active in various Hospital Auxiliaries and groups including St. Joseph Hospital. Tina was predeceased by her husband Dr. Charles Needham and is survived by her sister Margaret Clark of Dallas, Texas; two children Sarah A Needham of Hagerstown, MD; son John C.Needham, daughter-in-law Leanne Needham; two grand children; Daniel Needham and Caitlin Needham of Scarsdale, NY. Funeral Services will be at All Saints Church on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 10am. Prior to the service a viewing will be held at Burns, Garfield Funeral on 3175 East Genesse Street from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to The Nottingham Foundation
