Requiem Mass Held Wed. For Mrs. Stanislav Mrs. Martha Stanislav, 72, of West, died Monday morning in West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Kotch Funeral Chapel. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption with Rev. George Doskocil and Rev. Earl Hedberg officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Stanislav was born in West and had lived here all her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption and KJZT Society No. 11 of West. Survivors include three sons, Alfred Stanislav of San Antonio, Joe R. Stanislav of Waco, and Robert J. Stanislav of Route 1, West; four brothers, Jim Mashek, Ed Mashek and Jerry Mashek, all of West, and John Mashek of Waco; three sisters, Mrs. August (Christine) Stanislav and Mrs. Joe (Mary) Urbish, both of West, and Mrs. Herman (Rosie) Grimm of Tours; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Harry Urbish, Jerry Stanislav, Joe Ed Grimm, Connie Jones, Thomas Stanislav, Frankie Hutyra, Ed Mashek, Jr. and John Mashek, Jr. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 82, No. 2, Edition 1, Friday, April 28, 1972, page 1.
