Funeral services for Frank F. W. Wegner, 73, of Armstrong will be conducted this afternoon ( Thursday ) at two o'clock at the Nazareth Lutheran church with Rev. Bernhard Nagel officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery. Mr. Wegner died Sunday morning at the Holy Family hospital where he had been a patient for the past eight weeks. Death was attributed to a stroke and complications. He had been in ill health for the past two years. Frank Fred William Wegner was born Feb. 2, 1890 at Cylinder, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wegner. He attended Cylinder schools and was married Dec. 7, 1910 to Emma Werling. They had farmed throughout their married life and at the time of his death lived on a farm six miles north of Armstrong. He was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran church. Survivors include his wife, four sons, Clyde and Donald, at home, Robert of Fairmont and Earl of Elmore, Minn.; 11 daughters, Mrs. Luella Hanson, Mrs. Gerald Johnson, Mrs. Clinton Mart, Mrs. Andrew Gram and Mrs. Edwin Sathoff of Armstrong; Mrs. Roman Pyletski, Mrs. Sylvester Borowiak, Mrs. Phil Nawrocki, Mrs. Edward Sathoff and Mrs. Carl Jorgensen, all of Fairmont and Mrs. Lillian Taylor of Swea City. Other survivors include 55 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Wegner of Armstrong and a sister, Mrs. Frank Shaw of Washington Court House, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and four sisters. (48060184)
