Services for Fern L. Nawrocki, 87, of Fairmont, MN will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont with burial in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, East Chain, MN. Mrs. Nawrocki died Saturday evening, January 28, 2006 at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday . There will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Fern Lucille Wegner was born August 12, 1918 in Armstrong, IA, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Werling) Wegner. She attended country school near Armstrong and was united in marriage to Phil Nawrocki on June 8, 1939 at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Chain, MN. They made their home in Silver Lake Township where they farmed until their retirement in 1984 and then moved to Fairmont. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont and also a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. Survivors include one daughter, Diane Hendricks and her husband, John, of Fairmont, MN; four sons, Duane Nawrocki and his wife, De, of Fairmont, MN, Dave Nawrocki of and his wife, Dana, of Fairmont, MN, Doug Nawrocki of Marshall, MN and Dennis Nawrocki and his wife, Jana, of Kasson, MN; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six sisters, Gladys Mart and her husband, Clinton, Velda Sathoff and Dorothy Johnson, all of Armstrong, IA, Florence Pytleski, ArleneWegener and Lillian Johnson, all of Fairmont, MN; one brother, Don Wegner of Armstrong, IA; one brother-in-law, MT Nawrocki and his wife, Mary Pat, of Granada, MN; two sisters-in-law, Marge Nawrocki and Mary Jean Nawrocki, both of Fairmont, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Fern was also preceded in death by four sisters, Luella Hansen, Pearl Borowiak, Norma Jorgenson and Jean Sathoff and three brothers, Earl, Clyde and Robert Wegner.
