Funeral service for Dolores "Jeanne" Sathoff, 73, of Fairmont will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow at the Armstrong Grove Cemetery in Armstong. Jeanne passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 20, 2005 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. Visitation with the family will be 4 to 7 p.m. Today at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church. Dolores "Jeanne" Wegner was born on Sept. 2, 1931 in Armstrong, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Werling) Wegner. She attended school in Armstrong. She was united in marriage to Edward "Bud" Sathoff on Dec. 13, 1947. They lived in the Armstrong-Ringsted area after they were married. They moved to the Fairmont area in the mid 1950's. Jeanne worked at the Lake Aires Supper Club, Lantern, and twenty eight years at the American Legion in Fairmont. Bud died on Jan. 25, 1992. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont and the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by five children, Kenny Sathoff and his wife, Kris, Gary Sathoff and his wife, Joyce, Mike Sathoff and his wife, Teresa, Connie Sathoff and Lisa Klein, all of Fairmont; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; special friend, Serle Mitchell of Armstrong; seven sisters, Gladys Mart and her husband, Clinton, Velda Sathoff, Dorothy Johnson, all of Armstrong, Fern Nawrocki, Florence Pytleski, Arlene Wegener, Lillian Johnson, all of Fairmont; one brother, Don Wegner of Armstrong; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and three brothers. (48061084)
