Bio

John Hudson Shaver, Sr, known as "Hud", served in the U S Army, World War I Hud gained his education at Rhea Central High School and Mountain City Business College, Chattanooga, TN. Hud worked all his life as a farmer, but also was retired from the Stove Foundry, now known as Suburban Mfg. Co. He and his first wife, Dima Sparks Shaver, had three children: Kathryn Louise, Olin Lloyd and Mildred Lucille. Hud and his second wife, Allie Housley Shaver, had 13 children, including twins, Velma and Delma.
