Bio

Bill served in the U S Army during World War II, Finance Division, in Italy and Africa. At the time of his death he was President of the Dayton Bank & Trust Co., having attended several banking schools. He was a Trustee at Bryan College in Dayton and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Bill was given a name at birth that he did not like. When he first started to grammar school he told everyone in school his name was "Bill". When he entered the Army, they told him that was a nickname and he had to go by William, which made two children the same name in the family.
