Margie "Madge" Shaver Young started out her adult life as a teacher. She received her education at Rhea Central High School, Bryan College, and Tennessee Weslyn College in Athens, TN. She and her husband Kenneth were retired from Kaiser Roth in Dayton. They both enjoyed very much their hobbies of building and making crafts. Madge was known for the apple dolls in their little rocking chairs, and Kenneth for his dancing dolls after Uncle Henry Bolen passed away. She and her family were active at Salem Baptist Church. Madge and Kenneth had two daughters who are still living at the time of entering this bio.
