Funeral Rites Slated for Richard Zlomke Funeral services for Richard Zlomke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Zlomke, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning in Blessed Sacrament Church. A requiem mass will be offered. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Westlawn Memorial Park. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Friends may call Tuesday night until 9 at the funeral home. Richard was fatally injured Saturday morning in an accident near North Loup. He was returning to Grand Island following a visit to the home of relatives at Ashton. He was born March 14, 1951 in this city to Dean and Dorothy Goodwin Zlomke. He was a student at Central Catholic High School, where he was active in football and track, the Latin Club and the Great Books Organization. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Robert, John and Dean, Jr., all at home and by other relatives. Robert, injured in the same accident, was released this weekend from the Valley County Hospital in Ord. An uncle, Donald Zlomke, hurt in a mishap Saturday morning in Ashton was also dismissed this weekend from a Loup City hospital Injured in the Ashton accident the boys' father, Dean, was reported in satisfactory condition at his home today. Mrs. Zlomke, mother of Richard, is in a Lincoln Hospital where she recently underwent surgery. GRAND ISLAND INDEPENDENT Tuesday, 18 April 1967
