Bio

Seaborn Smith married Julia Emma Murrah on March 12, 1873, in Polk County, Texas. Seaborn and Julia moved their family from Polk County to Wise County, Texas, in 1882, and from Wise County, Texas, to Eastman, in the Southern District of Indian Territory, in 1893. Eastman then became part of Love County, Oklahoma, in 1907. Seaborn's occupation was a blacksmith. OBITUARY FROM THE MARIETTA MONITOR Marietta, Oklahoma, Friday, April 11, 1913 Death at Eastman S. T. Smith, an old and highly respected citizen of the Eastman community, died suddenly Monday night, his death being attributed to dropsy of the heart. Deceased is survived by a wife and several children. The funeral and interment occurred Tuesday afternoon.
