Bio
October 18,, 1917 - Oliver Adam Kifer, a former well known citizen of Scotch Hill, died at his home in Ridgeway Friday, Oct. 5, 1917. He was born at Callensburg October 12, 1846 and was within 7 days of his 71st birthday. He united in marriage in 1877 with Rebecca Ann Harriger of Scotch Hill. Fourteen children were born to them, ten of whom are living as follows: Leroy, Wayne, Charles, Ralph, Ruth and Lelia of Ridgeway, Mrs. W. E. Brandon and Mrs. R. I. Owens, Summit Township, Clarion County. His wife and 17 grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Kifer was united with theScotch Hill M. E. Church in 1888 and was a member until his death. Funeral services were held in the church on Monday afternoon, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. Conducted by Rev. W. P. Sipe, pastor and Rev. H. B. Davis of Ridgeway.
