-------------------------------------------------- Lelia K. Clyde, 60, well known resident of 272 1/2 Elm Street, died at 12.30 a.m. Friday in the Oil City Hospital following several months’ illness. Born in Scotch Hill, September 9, 1894, she was a daughter of the later Oliver and Rebecca Harriger Kifer. Mrs. Clyde spent her early life and was educated in the schools of Scotch hill. She came to Oil City in 1939 from Clarion and has resided here since. Mrs. Clyde was a member of the United Brethren Church of this city. Mrs. Clyde is survived by one daughter, Alda Mae Rains of Indianapolis, Ind., and one son, Wayne O. Clyde of Chicago. Also surviving are six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Christy, Oil City; Mrs. Alda Kroh, Clarion; and Mrs. Maggie Simpson, Scotch Hill; and two brothers, Ralph Kifer of Wilcox and Charles Kifer, Waterford. Mrs. Clyde was preceded in death by three children, Charles who died December 16, 1953; Ruth Ann who died in March of 1946; and one child in infancy. The body is in the Crawford Funeral Home.
