BRANDON, Myrtle Mae Kifer (2/5/1925) Mrs. Myrtle Mae (Kifer) Brandon died suddenly at her home in Summerville on Wednesday, January 28, of hemorrhage of the ventricles into the brain. She lived 35 minutes after the attack. She was 47 years 13 days of age, having bween born at Scotch Hill on January 15, 1878. She was a daughter of Oliver A. and Rebecca Kifer. She was united in marriage to William Everett Brandon at Scotch Hill on December 25, 1896. They had resided at Scotch Hill, Leeper, Knox and Miola. She is survived by her husband and two children, Clarabel, wife of C. R. Reed of Clarion, and Nellie, wife of C. H. Defibaugh of Summerville. One daughter Helen is dead. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Rebecca Kifer, and a grandson, Jack Brandon Reed. Her father died October 5, 1917. The following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Ben Simpson of Scotch Hill; Mrs. B. Kroh, Mrs. W. Clyde, Mrs. A. R. Cyphert and Wayne Kifer, all of Clarion; Mrs. R. D. Owens of Mexico; Roy Kifer, of Millstone; Charles Kifer of Rimersburg, and Ralph Kifer of Brockwayville.
