Son of Abraham and Mary Elizabeth (Dunkle) Kifer, m. 1st Jennie R. Greenawalt, Oct. 14, 1886, m. 2nd Pearl Ada Reddick July 4, 1900 John H. Kifer, died July 30, 1950, at 11:30, he lived on Merle St. Clarion. He was born to Abraham and Elizabeth Kifer on February 16, 1865. He married Jennie Greenawalt and later married Pearl Reddick. He is survived by the following children; John HenryKifer, Sligo RD, Emory Kifer, Parker, Mrs. Anna Martin, Erie, Abraham Kifer, Pittsburgh, James Stuart Kifer, Reading, and Albert L. Kifer, Erie. Also two sisters Elma Reed, Clarion and Anna Dunkle, Cleveland, Oh. and 25 grandchildren. Funeral services were held on August 1, 10:30 a.m. in the Jenkins Funeral Home, by the Rev. Robert E. Allinger. Interment in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
