Bio

Clarion Republican - Jan. 10, 1952 pg. 8 Mrs. Rebecca Ann Kifer of 422 Seneca Street, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunch in the Oil City Hospital. A daughter of Cyrus and Jane Harriger, she was born September 1, 1862 in Corsica moving to Oil City seven years ago. She was a memeber of the Scotch Hill Methodist Church and was married to Oliver Kifer, November 1, 1877. Surviving are three sons, Wayne of Clearfield, Charles of Waterford and Ralph of Wilcox; four daughters Mrs. Maggie Simpson of Scotch Hill, Mrs. Elda Kroh of Clarion, Mrs. Leila Clyde and Mrs. Ruth Christy of Oil City. The body was taken to the Jenkins Funeral Home, Clarion. Prayer services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jenkins. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. in the Scotch Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. B. H. Mead officiating. Interment was in Scotch Hill Cemetery.
