Mrs. Susan V. Mahle, aged 83 years, 3 months and 15 days, widow of George Mahle died 9:35 Tuesday morning, April 24, 1928, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Wassum, Cannonsburg, Pa. Mrs. Mahle was born at Callensburg, Clarion County, Pa., January 9, 1845. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Manor, Pa., and is survived by the following children: T.T. Moore, Sco, O; Mrs. G. A. Wassum, Woodruff, WV; Mrs. William Wassum Cannonsburg; Mrs. Leroy Smith and Mr. Robert Steinger, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Benjamin Elslager, of Knox. Twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren are also living. One daughter Mrs. James Schoch, preceded her in death two years ago. Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. Church of Shippenville by Rev. Hetrick at 2:00 Thursday afternoon. Interment was made in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
