LEEPER-Mrs. Maggie Kifer Simpson, 79, widow of Benton Simpson, died at I a.m. Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Hall of Tylersburg. She resided in Leeper. Mrs. Simpson was born April 29, 1881 at Scotch Hill, daughter of Oliver Kifer and Rebecca Harriger. On December 5, 1899 she married Benton Simpson who died March 5, 1934. Mrs. Simpson was a member of the Scotch Hill Methodist Church. Surviving children are Mrs. Clara Nulph, Leigh Simpson, and Mrs. Rebecca Hall all of Leeper; Mrs. Sara Watkins, Grand Island N.Y. Other survivors include the following: Mrs. Alda Kroh, Clarion RD; Mrs. Ruth Cristy, Oil City; Charles Kifer, Erie; Ralph Kifer Wilcox; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The body was taken to the home Mrs. Clara Nulph of Leeper and on Monday will be removed at noon to the Scotch Hill Methodist Church where services, will be held at 2 p.m. Officiating minister will be Rev Barrel! Evans, pastor of the Tyersburg Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Goble Funeral Home Clarion. Interment will be in the Scotch Hill Cemetery.
