Married 21 May 1906 Gonzales Co., Texas Obituary Gonzales Inquirer June 19, 1986 Funeral services fr Sarah Elizabeth Denman, who died at her residence in Austin on Tuesday morning, will be held at Seydler-Hill Chapel on Thursday, June 19 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Donald Eberhart and the Rev. Gerald Evans will officiate, with interment in the City cemetery. Mrs. Denman was born on March 23, 1889 in Harwood, to William Henry and Isabelle McCarty Candy, natives respectively of Michigan and Mississippi. She was married to William Edward Denman on Nov. 22, 1906 in Harwood, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1963. She had attended McCarty School, and was a member of the Baptist churvh. She lived at 2411 Kinney Road in Austin. She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis E. Denman; nine sisters and brothers, and two grandchildren, Donald Wayne Shuler and Lois Denman.
