Son of J.J. Denman & Anna Ratcliff ******** Married 21 May 1906 Gonzales Co., Texas Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Oct. 3, 1963 Last Rites Sunday For Mr. Denman William Edward Denman, native of Gonzales county, died at the Crews hospital at 5:40 a.m. Saturday. Services are set for 3 p.m. Sunday from the Baker Funeral chapel with burial to take place in the City cemetery. The Rev. Harry Goodman, pastor of the Clark Baptist church of which he was a member, will conduct the last rites. Mr. Denman was born in Gonzales county on June 2, 1882, to J. J. and Anna Ratcliff Denman. He was married on November 2, 1906, to Miss Sarah Elizabeth Cady. He was a retired rancher and farmer. Survivors include his wife; one son, C. E. Denman of San Antonio; six daughters, Mrs, W. E. Skaggs, Mrs. Lorene Talmage, Mrs. Roy Dixon, Mrs. Mildred Ferguson, all of Austin; Mrs. Ray Shuler of Stafford, and Mrs. Sam D. Michelle, Baton Rouge, A. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
