Obit-Gonzales Inquirer May 1, 1957 pg 1 Miss. Ruth L. Cady Funeral Thursday Afternoon At 2:30 Funeral services will be held at 2;30 Thursday from the Seydler Funeral home for Ruth Leara Cady, who died at the Crews hospital Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. The Rev. Roy H. May, pastor of the Methodist church will conduct the final rites with burial to take place in the City Cemetery. Miss Cady was born June 16, 1881, in Caldwell county to William Henry and Sybil McCarty Cady, natives of Michigan and Texas respectively. She had made her home at 418 St. Matthew street and at the time of her death was manager of the Corner Bargain store here in Gonzales. She was a member of the First Methodist church. Survivors include six sisters.
