Married 5 October 1926 Caldwell, Texas *************** Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Dec.30, 1968 pg. 1 Bunton Rites Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Seydler Hill Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Roy E. Bunton, who died in the Crews Hospital at 1:20 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Howard A. Lee, pastor of the First Baptisyt church, and the Rev. W. S. Bunton of Burnet will officiate, and burial will be in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Bunton was born in Caldwell county on April 28, 1886, the daughter of Will and Sybil Cady. She was a member of the First Baptist church, and for many years had been employed as a sales woman for T.J. Knight Store. She was married on October 25, 1928, to Roy E. Bunton and at the time of her death was making her home at 418 St Matthew Street. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Frye) Bonura of Kerrville; Mrs. Homer (Josephine) Nagel of San Antonio; one son Roy Bunton Jr., of San Antonio; six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters. Mrs. Ed (Sarah) Denman of Austin; and Mrs. Will (Alma) Spencer of Bay City. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, one sister, Mrs. R.P. Smith of Luling preceded her in death on December 16 of this year. Pallbearers will included L. H. Burchard, Paul Wenske, S. T. Winegeart, Andrew Smith, Firmin LePori. Sr., and Rupert Reid.
