Daughter of William McCarty and Elizebeth Benthal **************** Obit-Gonzales Inquirer Aug. 4, 1944 Funeral For Mrs. Isabel Cady Thursday Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Seydler Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Isabel Fredonia Cady, who passed away Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at her home. Mrs. Cady has been a resident of Gonzales for the past 25 years, moving here in 1919. She is 85 years, 7 months and 2 days of age. Mrs. Cady has been a lifelong member of the Baptist church. She has been partly paralyzed for the past five years and has been in a critical condition for the past eight weeks. Surviving her are her nine children, seven daughters, Mrs. R. P. Smith of Luling, Mrs. Will Spencer of Harwood, Mrs. Will Cleveland of Hallettsville, Mrs. Ruth Cady, Mrs. Charlie Graves, Mrs. Roy Bunton and Mrs. W. E. Denman all of Gonzales; two sons, J. L. Cady of Harwood and C. F. Cady of Harlington. Her husband preceded her in death in June 9, 1925. Interment was held at the city cemetery.
