Married 31 January 1923 Gonzales, Texas Obit-Gonzales Inquirer Apr. 23, 1962 pg 1 Mrs. Cleveland Funeral Services Set For Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Hesta Celeste Cleveland, wife of William E. Cleveland. will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the First Methodist church. The Rev. Wesley N. Schulze, pastor, will officiate with burial to take place in the City cemetery under the direction of Seydler Funeral home. Mrs. Cleveland died in the Crews hospital Monday at 4:30 a.m. following several months of ill health. She was born in Caldwell county, the daughter of William Henry and Sybil McCarty Cady, natives of Michigan and Texas respectively. A member of the First Methodist church, she is survived by her husband and four sisters, Mrs. R. P. (Julia) Smith of Luling, Mrs. R. E. (Willie) Bunton, Mrs. W. E. (Sarah) Denman, both of Gonzales; and Mrs. W. G. (Alma) Spencer of Bay City. Her pallbearers will include Ray Shanklin, Clarence Cady, J. R, Tinsley, Jr., Bert Ehrig, Sr., Paul Wenske and Clate Thorn.
