Bio

Yoakum, Tex., Oct. 29. — J. L. McCarty, aged 75 years, died at the home of his son, J. L. McCarty Jr., 601 North South street, this city. The body was sent to Gonzales for burial. He is survived by the following children: Mesdames E. F. Gee, Yoakum; L. L. Hinton, San Antonio; R. Zumalt [sic Zumwalt], Gonzales, and Messrs. I. S. McCarty, L. R. McCarty, Douglas, Ariz.; W. H. McCarty, Lockhart; J. S. McCarty, Luling, and J. L. McCarty, Yoakum. Published in The Galveston Daily News, October 30, 1921
