Bio

John Plantenberg, 80, died on Aug 15, 1982 in Elba, WI. John was born on Jan. 28 1902, in Aloys, NE, the son of Ferdinand and Mary Ortmeier Plantenberg. He was married to married to Mathilda Hegge on Aug 30, 1921. John was a WWI veteran. Survivors are his wife, Mathilda, sons: Ralph (Anna), Harold (Maureta) and Cletus (Noreen) Plantenberg. Preceded in death by a son Earl in 1928,a grandson and his parents. Interment is at St. Jerome's Catholic Cemetery in Columbus, WI.
