Bernadine Alameda, 87, of North Bend died Sunday, July 14, 1996, at Birchwood Manor in North Bend. Bernadine Plantenberg was born Jun 28, 1909 in Aloys. She married Fred Almeda July 3, 1948, in Reno, Nev. Her husband died Aug. 10, 1979. Survivors include a son, a brother, and a sister. She is also preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. - Fremont Tribune July 15, 1996
