Mayme Plantenberg Kremer was born April 15, 1896 to Fred Plantenberg and Mary Ortmeier in Crofton, NE. On November 27, 1917, Mayme Plantenberg married William Kremer at St. Rose Parish, Crofton, NE. They were the parents of Esther, Ethel, and Angela. On her 30th birthday, April 15, 1926 Mamie died. Interment is at St. Rose Cemetery, Crofton, NE. Mrs. Will Kremer Claimed by Death Beloved Woman Dies at Home Near Constance Sunday Night Death came suddenly Sunday night at about 9:30 and claimed Mrs. Will Kremer of the Constance community. She had been sick but a few hours when she died, death being due to complications of kidney and heart trouble. Mrs. Kremer was the daughter of Mrs. Fred Plantenberg, near Crofton, and was born at St Aloysius 31 years ago Tuesday, coming to Cedar County when she was a little girl and has lived here ever since. She was married in Crofton eight years ago to Will Kremer and to this union three girls were born, Esther, aged six, Ethel, four, and Angela, two years of age. Besides her husband and children, Mrs. Kremer leaves her mother, three sisters and six brothers. The brothers are John of Crofton, Casper, Herman, Arthur, Fred, and Emil who are at home and the sisters are Mrs. Bernard Emanuel of North Bend and Martha and Bernadine, who are also at home. Funeral services were held Thursday morning from the Catholic church at Constance, Rev Father Pieper officiating. Burial was made in the Constance cemetery. The sympathy of the entire community goes to the bereaved ones in the loss of this highly esteemed wife and mother. – Cedar County News, Apr 22, 1926
