Obituary from Moberly Paper: Henry H Hess, 56, 1205 Kenepp, died at 11:45 yesterday morning at the University Medical Center, Columbia, where he had been a patient since Friday. Born in Moberly, he lived his entire life here. He wasa retired trucker. Surviving are his wife, Dollie; four daughters, Mrs Hubert Brock, Mrs William Steele, Mrs Gerald Sumpter, Moberly, and Mrs Gary Sumpter, Kansas City; one son Donald Hess, Macon; 10 grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs Earl Young, Mrs Louie Staley, Mrs Ralph Johnson and Mrs George Gravitt all of Moberly; seven brothers, Alfred and Manning, Cincinnati, Ohio; David, Benton Arbor, Mich; Freddie, Carnegie, Penn; John and Thomas Earl, Moberly; and Darold, St Joseph. Burial in Hagar Cemetery.
