Obituary from Moberly Paper: Alfred L Hess, 52, of Moberly died this morningat 5:30 in Newark, Ohio, where he had been visiting with sons the past three weeks. Me Hess was born in Moberly and had spent most of his life here. Surviving are his wife, Hazel, of Renick; 10 children, Junior, Lacoma, Mich.; Paul and Melvin, Newark, Ohio; Wayne, Cincinnati, Ohio; Dewayne, who is serving in the service at Ft. Leonard Wood; Bob, Jackie and Patty Jo, Renick; Mrs Doris Norris, Renick; and Miss Ann Hess, Mexico; five brothers, Thomas and John, Moberly; Darrell, St Joseph; Freddie and Manning, state of Ohio; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs E L Young, Mrs Norine Staley, Mrs Edna Gravitt, Moberly, and Mrs Margaret Johnson, Macon.
