Obituary from Moberly: Harvey Francis Hess, 80, died at 10:35 last nifht inhis home at 305 N Buchanan following a lingering illness. He was born April 15, 1878 at Higbee, MO, the son of Hiram and Mary Margaret White Hess. He was a retired farmer and had lived in this vicinity his entire life. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Moberly. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs Minnie Young, Mrs Maggie Rigler, Mrs Edna Gravitt, and Mrs Norene Staley all of Moberly; and eight sons, Henry and John Hess, Moberly, David Hess, Ann Arbor, Mich., Alfred Hess, Newward, Ohio, Fred Hess, Carnegie, Pa., Manning Hess, Cincinnati, Ohio, Thomas Hess, Monmouth, Ill., And Darrell Hess, Dt joseph; 56 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and one step-daughter. His wife preceded him in death. Burial in Hagar Cemetery.
